Group Classes
Three distinct practices. One shared intention — to move, breathe, and arrive.
Ashtanga
Vinyasa
Mysore method · Breath & bandha
Taught in the classical Mysore style, you learn sequences gradually under personal guidance — progressing to the next posture only when ready. Breath, movement and bandhas build internal heat that purifies and strengthens.
Vinyasa
Flow
Flowing sequences · Build & evolve
Individual poses woven together with deep breaths into flowing sequences that build progressively. Standing, seated, inversions, twists and backbends — each class evolves from where the last ended.
Deep
Stretch
Slow & grounding · Release tension
A slow, supported class focused on releasing tension and improving flexibility through long-held gentle stretches. Breathing and mindfulness are woven throughout — leaving you open, restored and deeply relaxed.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga it is traditionally taught in a “Mysore” style where the student learns the sequences gradually under the personalized guidance of a teacher, progressing onto the next posture when they are ready.
The term Vinyasa refers to the alignment of movement and breath but is also used to describe a series of movements used to link each asana in a series. The asana system is a moving meditation with the transition between each pose being as important as the postures themselves.
A regular practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga helps the mind to be clearer and the body stronger and more flexible. The breath, along with the movement and bandhas, helps to create internal heat in the body which improves circulation and detoxifies the system. There’s also Full led and Half led classes where the instructor guide the class.
A Vinyasa yoga flow practice connects individual poses or “asanas” with deep breaths in a series of flowing sequences of movement. Designed to progressively open the body, each sequence in a Vinyasa yoga class builds upon the previous, evolving into deeper, more advanced postures as the practice unfolds.
Vinyasa classes incorporate a variety of postures, or asanas. Think standing, seated and supine poses, twists, balancing poses, forward folds, inversions, and backbends.
Vinyasa moves at a faster pace and requires greater breathing control.
Deep Stretch is a slow, grounding class focused on releasing tension and improving flexibility. We hold gentle, supported stretches for longer periods, allowing the body to relax and lengthen safely. Breathing and mindfulness are woven throughout to help calm the nervous system, ease tight muscles, and leave you feeling open, restored, and deeply relaxed. Suitable for all levels.
